We will have a BBQ on Friday, May 26, 5:30 p.m., at the church. The hamburgers and hotdogs will be provided and we ask that everyone bring a salad, vegetable, or dessert. Pastor Eichler will lead us in a short Bible study after the meal.

Jan Borst will be selling roses before and after the worship service on Mother’s Day to benefit Emporia Birthright. Consider giving a rose to your own mother or grandmother, the mother of your children or grandchildren, or any mother you admire. The cost of the roses will be $2.00 each.
A new adult information class to study the basics of the Lutheran faith will begin May 11. This 6 week series will be a great opportunity for those wondering what the Lutheran church teaches and will also be an adult confirmation class for anyone wishing to join the church.
